Times they are a-tough : The job market is tough, both for hiring managers and for the candidates. Believe it or not Hiring managers don’t have it easy. Getting tons of resume’s , doesn’t mean that it is any easier to find exceptional cadidates. In fact, the opposite is true. We struggle for myriad reasons to find the right candidates , who will make a real difference to our companies.
Imagine if you had a dose of the flu and you decided that you needed to buy some medicines. Now imagine that you go to the local mall and you find ten pharmacies next door to each other, all in a nice row and basically all the same. How do you decide which pharmacy to purchase your flu medicine from?
Do you look for the cheapest, the one with the most helpful staff, the biggest, the smallest, the longest established, the one that you have visited before or the simply the one that is closest? These are the kind of questions that we subconsciously ask every time we go to purchase an item.
